When the dust settles, the team discovers that the group's leader Victor (Adrian Hough, JPOD), escaped with Danny's brother Trent (Tyler Johnston, LESS THAN KIND) and another accomplice - and they're all carrying concealed bombs. Parker (Enrico Colantoni) must enlist Danny's help in a race against time to stop the bombers and save hundreds of innocent lives.

New online game Flashpoint Training Day on CTV.ca

FLASHPOINT TRAINING DAY, an interactive simulation that gives FLASHPOINT fans the chance to become virtual members of the Strategic Response Unit (SRU), was launched today at CTV.ca.

Now, viewers can gear up for the new season beginning August 6 on CTV with the ultimate virtual SRU training experience.

In an ambitious online extension of the television show, viewers can adopt the role of a rookie recruit and explore SRU tactical and strategic training modules, including the recruitment test, real-time negotiations with a hostage taker, and training in weapons, sniping, tactics, and profiling.

FLASHPOINT TRAINING DAY is shot in HD using live action video scenarios featuring the cast of the hit series. In collaboration with real police force advisors who also appear in the game, players are introduced to the actual weapons and equipment used by police.

Flashpoint stays hot with million-plus audience for encore summer run

North Americans can’t get enough FLASHPOINT! Three episodes into its Season 2 summer run, encore episodes of Canada’s most-watched original drama series are averaging 1.1 million viewers Friday nights at 9 p.m. ET on CTV.

Last Friday’s episode was the most-watched primetime program in North America, with 1.08 million viewers in Canada and 6.95 million in the United States. In both countries, FLASHPOINT nearly doubled the audience of its lead-in, an encore episode of MEDIUM.

In Canada, FLASHPOINT was the #1 primetime program not only among total viewers, but among all key demos as well, with week-to-week growth in key adult demos. In the United States, FLASHPOINT has seen ratings growth since its season premiere three weeks ago, and grew throughout the hour in both A18-49 and A25-54.
