  • Anonymous said: I have watched Cityline and have been watching Cityline for years. I don't watch to check out what the host is doing. I watch to get information on all sorts of topics. Tracy does as good a job as any other host I've seen. Marilyn D. was great but everyone is different. What I do have a complaint about is 'Fashion Day'. Someone has to speak up for animals on this planet and here's my gripe: Please don't promote products that are made from skins of animals that are endangered. Python skin handbags seem to be the rage on Cityline and Steven and Chris's show these days. It will be only a matter of time before everyone thinks it's vogue to have a 'python skin' purse or shoes or belt or whatever. Once that starts the prices go up and the 'poaching' begins. Elephants are a prime example of that. Thank you for your time.

  • MB said: Tracey needs to button it up. We don't need her commentary when a guest is speaking. Why can't she just listen first and then ask her (often dumb) questions? She uses all of the catch words and in the end comes across as inauthentic.
  • Denise said: I could not agree more. Tracy should zip it. I turn on the show.only to turn off again. I use to watch this show, when Marlyin was hosting, somtimes twice in one day, she always made me laugh.show is not the same without her.miss her pls listen to your audience.Need New Host.Steven and Chris take over pls

  • Gord Hillman said: Great Coverage...BUT! CTV enough with Crosby already. 3 goals and 1 in a shootout on his second try and we have to watch him blow his nose in his hand and shake hands with the Russians . What about Iginla? Luongo? How about featuring guys who do the work? Shea Weber on Ovechkinfor example. Meghan Agosta has an Olympic record for goals scored on her team and she doesn't even get camera time. And please scrap that tax idea.
  • KCC said: Okay....I tuned in an hour and a half ago for "live coverage" of the games....I've seen/heard nothing but Brian Williams and a lot of BS fluff and I've have had enough....is there anything happening out there?
  • D said: Way to go MK. You'll never read this and you'll never know how much I was going to givr to support you, but the best thing in the world that could have happened did happen and I am so happy to see you come out on top. Congratulations.

  • Anonymous said: Tracy is really crummy. Quite immature and she is always interrupting her guests and she pushes her opinions constantly...an uninformed know-it-all, a braggart, a snob with a bad attitude.
  • Jordan W said: Who was the one guy named rob..he was an artist..they showed his song in there too...a little bit creepy and sketchy looking..but i liked the song..anyone know?
  • Jane Doe said: Just a reminder of how ignorant, unkind and blissfully arrogant Americans really are; to talk about the divorce between Paul McCartney and Heather Mills by reporting that "she didn't have a leg to stand on". Stupid, cruel and unnecessary. And you wonder why the world hates Americans.
  • Alpha_Q said: No, they didn't make the list. Nor did Woody Allen and his adopted daughter. The list comes across as being compiled by a 23 year old girl who's memory only goes back as far as 1998. If this show comes on tv, change the channel.

I've noticed that too; it could be a technical issue but it also might be their response to the overwhelming amount of comments that called for change. However, there are other forums and blogs where you can voice your opinion:

    http://pario.blogspot.com/2008/05/where-art-thou-marilyn-dennis-wherefore.html

    http://www.styleathome.com/blogs/stylesleuth/2009/03/26/whatever-happened-to-sweet-marilyn-denis/comment-page-1/

I came across an interview with Tracy Moore while searching for these forums and had to laugh at some of her comments:

"{snip}I think our audience is pretty savvy. I think they can sniff out inauthenticity a mile away. {snip}" yes, we are savvy and that's why most of us have stopped watching!

"Certainly CityLine doesn’t belong to me alone, it belongs to the viewers and all the guest hosts that come in as well, but this is what I’ve wanted to do for a long time. "

"It belongs to the viewers and all the guest hosts"? Then why haven't she addressed any of the massive amount of suggestions and complaints that were voiced on the Cityline forum (to stop interrupting the guests, to stop making the shallow, self-absorbed comments, to cut back on her unfunny attempts at self-deprecation where she cuts off the guest to bring attention to her inability to cook, craft, etc., to stop commenting on the model while ignoring the clothes they're wearing, just to name a few)?

The producers of Cityline, forum moderater Suzanne Ellis and Tracy Moore have demonstrated that Cityline belongs to them and the minority group of viewers who find the current show entertaining.

  • Cindy said: I really enjoyed this show. It was great to see how happy the people at Pals were and to see some of their wonderful performances. It was also very interesting to see their background in performing, their singing, or their past life in theatre or movies etc. It was awesome that they could keep active in something they truly enjoyed and never really retire. The commentator was great and his story was great too. Thank you so much for producing such a wonderful series. I hope it comes back on TV again and/or more like it! I saw this show on Global TV.

  • Javion said: Quite often when you like some blog article, you are really glad to find links "related articles" and "learn more". But unfortunatelly even more often we fail to find such links, for me personally I have found a good way out - I copy the title of the article, place it into the search engine (the search will be more effective if you use http://www.pdfqueen.com special pdf search engines on books and articles) and get tones of material I am interested in.
  • Giselle said: Having read your article, I recalled one good book. I have http://www.pdfqueen.com found at pdf ebooks search engine, it was written in the style of a blog, where each article was finished with the discussion and other people's opinions.

  • Talon said: I am dissapointed that the show has been cut. Yes it had some slow parts with the flash backs but that was to help build the story, so you could understand how they got where they are. I found the show was great and am very sad to hear that it has been cut, seems anytime i find a sci-fi that actualy is good it gets cut. Anyway for anyone that does not know the rest of the season is being shown on the Space channel, fridays at 8pm. One episode to go then bye bye antares. Another dissapointing ending for a good show.
  • Anonymous said: I saw it on ondemend. it was awesome. there was also a episode where rick's ghost posseses holy j it was awesome and scary
  • Brittany said: I'm a viewer in the US and I'm very sad that there aren't any new episodes of Defying Gravity anymore! I really liked the show and was excited to watch it every week. I'm a person who has a great interest in space and astronomy to begin with, so any show about astronauts would be a hit with me. I hope they bring it back because I'm really missing it.
