Season 3 Top 22 performance show
Isn't it so good to have a Canadian reality TV show on the air? Thanks CTV!
Bad news for Shelaina Anderson. Before we even get to a performance show and Shelaina has injured herself in rehearsals and cracked one of the bones in her foot. The injury doesn't just affect Shelaina though. Her partner for tonight is going to be getting a stand in and according to Jean Marc, it's a big surprise. Who is it? Season two winner Tara-Jean Popowich of course!
So here is the run down of what happened!

What is a Hot Tamale?

I've heard Mary Murphy talk about her infamous Hot Tamale Train for years but it wasn't until last night that I decided to actual google "Hot Tamale" to find out once and for all what on earth she was actually talking about.
Perhaps I shouldn't have.
According to the Urban Dictionary, a Hot Tamale is:
a sexual act where a guy puts a condom on and lubricates it with tabbasco sauce and then has intercourse
Charming. One can only guess what a Hot Tamale Train is then...
SYTYCDC Season 3 Auditions - Toronto

I'd forgotten just how much fun So You Think You Can Dance Canada is. Dancing is intense. People pushing their bodies to the limit in the auditions just to get themselves a boarding pass to the finals. It's amazing that we don't see more broken bones and torn ligaments!
Amanda Cleghorn - 18, Mississauga, ON Imogen Heap, between sheets. Amanda doesn't want to be in the shadow of her older sister any longer. The first audition of the day and the first ticket to the finals.
Aneal Ramkissoon, 18, Woodbridge, ON It's all about Bollywood for Aneal. If you want diversification then this is it. If you want a ticket though, try harder next year.

Jane Badler reboots Diana on V

The woman who played the visitor queen in the original V series has confirmed she will have a role in the reboot's second season.
Badler will return to the screen as Diana, the same name her original character had, but will play Anna's mother who has been imprisoned in a Vistor homeworld habitat on one of the V ships.
Fired: DioGuardi, Hired: Lopez and Tyler

TMZ are reporting that Kara DioGuardi is the latest casualty of the American Idol reboot.
Rumor is that Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez will be joining Randy Jackson on the show's next season.
If this is the new judging panel, is it going to be enough to counter the onslaught that Simon Cowell and The X Factor are about to bring?
What do you think if this is the line up?
Ten reasons why I love Rookie Blue

If you haven't seen Global's new show Rookie Blue, then you're missing out. Why? Let me give you ten reasons why you should be watching it.

It has this chick in it. Missy Peregrym. You may remember her as Andi Prendergast in Reaper. You won't forget her as Andy McNally on Rookie Blue.

Missy Peregrym is a former model.

And had a role on Heroes.

This was Missy Peregrym showing off her abs in the movie Stick It, but I digress.

Bret Michaels suffers brain hemorrhage
80's glam rocker turned reality TV star, Bret Michaels, has been diagnosed with a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage after being rushed to hospital.
The 47 year old musician as the front man for Poison reinvented himself recently on shows like Rock of Love and the current season of The Celebrity Apprentice.
He recently recorded a new song with Miley Cyrus.
The villains cut Randy
It must have been those chickens getting loose but the team bonding sure had some impact on the Heroes as they scalp the villains in a first to eight sumo/bag challenge in a clean sweep. It's humiliating.
With such an emphatic win to the Heroes, the villains retire to camp to start the inevitable process of cutting one of their own. Do they go with the weakest player on the team or do they get rid of one of the biggest threats?
You would think that after some of them have played this game two or three times that they would have learnt by now that unless you remove the threat, you put yourself in the difficult situation of having to deal with some very crafty and devious players later off who, like an unwanted mosquito, can be incredibly difficult to get rid of and keep turning up when you don't want to feast on your blood.
Tribal council proves that the majority still haven't learnt this lesson and poor old Randy is extinguished from the game.
Heroes vote off Stephanie
If there's one thing I hate watching in shows like survivor it's seeing people who are physically strong getting hammered by the elements and the environment. Seeing Boston Rob have a spell of unconsciousness must have sent chills through the villains camp as the reality of the environment they find themselves in impacts their very lives. How cool must it have been though to come back from that and win the immunity challenge?
While the villains have to deal with nearly losing the very person who seems to be pulling their tribe together, the heroes seem to be falling apart. It's embarrassing.
For the second week in a row the Heroes get their asses handed to them at the immunity challenge because they just can't get it together and work together as a team. James just wants to win but first they're going to have to sort out their various differences and stop pulling in multiple directions.

It's been a while since I watched a full season of Survivor and I have to admit, I've missed it.
What better place to pick it back up again though than with the 20th season of the hit show that has been running for ten years. Can you believe it?
While previous Survivors have had Outwit, Outplay and Outlast as the theme for the series, Survivor: Heores vs Villains is all about Return, Revenge and Redemption.
The teams:
