The countdown is on. Scratch that gossip itch and indulge as CTV announces the programming lineup and launch strategy for the return of the world’s top entertainment brand to Canada.

E! Entertainment Television explodes onto Canadian airwaves on Monday, November 29 with a week-long sneak peek of the famous E! programming viewers can come to expect from the new specialty channel, including all the hook-ups, break-ups and make-ups that star-struck fans can stand.

E! rolls out the red carpet for viewers on Launch Day with the day-and-date premieres of both E! NEWS and CHELSEA LATELY on Nov. 29. Throughout the week, E! presents a tease of its schedule with special programming featuring all the glitz, gossip and glamour of Hollywood, providing viewers with a taste of all the spicy antics yet to come.

Then, beginning Friday, December 3 at 6 p.m. ET, it’s all Kim, all Khloe, all Kourtney, all the time: a 29-hour, three-day marathon of E!’s record-breaking #1 series, KEEPING UP WITH THE KARDASHIANS.

After the week-long overdose of celebrity culture and La-La Land scandal, E! settles into its regular schedule on Sunday, December 5 with the premieres of KOURTNEY & KHLOE TAKE MIAMI, followed by the debuts of KENDRA (Dec. 7), TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY (Dec. 8), THE SOUP (Dec. 10), FASHION POLICE (Dec. 10), MARRIED TO ROCK (Dec. 12) and BRIDALPLASTY (Dec. 12). Canadian viewers can catch up to the shenanigans on E!’s #1 series Monday nights before the all-new KOURTNEY AND KIM TAKE NEW YORK premieres in the new year. Tabloid princess Kim Kardashian and her colourful blended family are the subjects of this reality series that chronicles their often chaotic domestic life together. Although often at odds, especially Kim and sisters Kourtney and Khloe, they always support one another in the end.

LOOK-A-LIKE follows regular people, step-by-step, as they undergo an extensive makeover by the Style Team, including hair, make-up, and wardrobe. The lucky makeover subjects are transformed into their favourite film or television actors, singers or other famous personalities. Continuing the new season, are the convincing LOOK-A-LIKE’s of Joe Jonas (Dec. 6), Jessica Simpson (Dec. 13), Lindsay Lohan (Dec. 20), and Vanessa Hudgeons (Dec. 27). The Style Team providing the VIP treatment consists of Paul Venoit (Make-Up Artist), Jeffrey Altenburg (Hairstylist), Alissia Marciano (Fashion Stylist) and Richard Sibbald (Photographer).

This winter, Star! delivers a collection of movies every week as part of the channel’s STAR! ATTRACTION line-up. Supermodel siren Lisa Snowdon returns to front the fourth cycle of BRITAIN’S NEXT TOP MODEL. Two fresh faces join the famously fearsome judging panel, including the show’s new Creative Director Gerry DeVeaux and Icelandic ex-supermodel turned fashion photographer Huggy Ragnarsson. BRITAIN’S NEXT TOP MODEL is based on the American version of the hit franchise and follows 14 women as they compete for the title of BRITAIN’S NEXT TOP MODEL and a chance to jumpstart their modeling career.

Sunday, September 27 at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT

Before Madonna’s third greatest hits album Celebration hits shelves and online this week, Star! offers viewers and fans alike an inside look into the ‘Material Girl’s’ life with her documentary I’m Going to Tell You a Secret. Considered the follow-up to 1991’s Truth or Dare, the film follows the pop-singer on her successful Re-Invention World Tour, chronicling rehearsals, opening night, and continuing all the way through the final show and her visit to Israel.

The hottest makeover series on television, LOOK-A-LIKE returns for its sixth season beginning Sunday, September 20 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on Star! – Canada’s Entertainment Channel.  The original Canadian production follows everyday ordinary people as they undergo extensive makeovers including hair, make-up, and wardrobe, ultimately transforming their looks into those of their favourite Hollywood celebrity. Produced by Kaleidoscope Entertainment in association with Star!, LOOK-A-LIKE kicks off its new season by channeling Twilight’s Kristen Stewart, followed by Joe Jonas, Lauren Conrad, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Megan Fox, P. Diddy, and more!

Viewers witness sensational head-to-toe makeovers led by top celebrity stylists including the industry’s most sought-after make-up artist, Paul Venoit, award-winning hair stylist Jeffrey Altenburg, and fashion stylist to the stars, Alissia Marciano. Season 6 also welcomes back photographer Richard Sibbald who completes the LOOK-A-LIKE Style Team.  Esteemed photographer, Richard Sibbald has captured a wide variety of celebrities and subjects including Jack White and Alicia Keyes. Star! gives viewers who missed the week’s Hollywood headlines a chance to get caught up with EXTRA WEEKEND. Airing Sunday afternoon, EXTRA’s weekend edition is hosted by Tanika Ray and summarizes all of the preceding week’s hot stories and scandals in one jam-packed hour.

Weeknights at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT (beginning Sept. 14)

Star! offers viewers the choice of seeing the best talk shows on television back-to-back at convenient times. THE DR. OZ SHOW completes Star!’s three hour ‘Talk Block’ which runs weeknights from 8 p.m. ET – 11 p.m. ET. Best known as the premiere health expert on THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW, Dr. Mehmet C. Oz hosts his own syndicated talk show. Co-produced by Harpo Productions and Sony Pictures Television, THE DR. OZ SHOW is a multi-topic, multi-segment health and wellness talk show that offers topical newsworthy information, inspiring stories, and branded elements in an upbeat and entertaining format featuring Dr. Oz’s unique point of view.

Viewers can also catch same day episodes of THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW (8 p.m. ET), followed by the ladies of THE VIEW (9 p.m. ET), and THE DR. OZ SHOW (10 p.m. ET). And because not all viewers are night owls, Star! also offers a dose of late night shenanigans in the afternoon with LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON (3 p.m. ET) and THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH CONAN O’BRIEN (4 p.m. ET).

Star!, Canada’s Entertainment Channel, adds another dosage of celebrity news, rumours, and reports to its programming schedule with the addition of EXTRA – TV’s second longest-running entertainment newsmagazine. EXTRA is the fourth celebrity news program to be added to Star!’s Entertainment Block, which now spans a full two hours weeknights from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. ET. Airing after ACCESS HOLLYWOOD (5 p.m.) and before ETALK (6 p.m.) and TMZ (6:30 p.m.), EXTRA continues its tradition of putting a fresh, fun spin on covering Hollywood’s biggest stars. Hosted by Mario Lopez (DANCING WITH THE STARS, AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW), EXTRA brings viewers raw moments from the red carpets and exclusive interviews with Hollywood’s A-list; plus, insights about health, fitness, and finance.
