Premiering January 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, new period drama The Americans takes espionage to new heights. Set in Washington D.C. shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected president, the series stars Keri Russell and follows two KGB spies posing as Americans.

APTN and OMNI Television announced today a partnership to greelight the new co-production, Mohawk Girls.

Produced by Montreal-based Rezolution Pictures, the six episode, 30-minute ‘dramedy’ series is slated to start production in spring 2013 in the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory, in Quebec.

In addition to its English broadcasts on both networks, the series will also air in Mohawk on APTN and in Mandarin on OMNI Television. Further production and broadcast details will be announced at a later date. Continue reading »
