masterchefcanadaCTV has announced casting details for their brand new series MasterChef Canada.

From today, Canadians can go online and submit their application for their chance to be a part of the culinary series, which is coming to Canada for the first time.

OMNI_logoOMNI Television has confirmed it will air the very first Mandarin broadcast of an MLB game in Canada this week.

The Toronto Blue Jays match against the Boston Red Sox on June 27 will be broadcast in the Mandarin language, with Taiwan-native Chien-Ming Wang scheduled to start as pitcher for the Blue Jays.

British Columbia couple Kristen and Darren will join brothers Jody (Ottawa) and Cory (Edmonton) in the race as two of the nine teams to race across the country.

In total, nine teams will compete for the historic half a million dollar grand prize, with three more teams announced tomorrow (June 25), two on Wednesday (June 26), and the final two pairings on Thursday (June 27). Giamatti will join the scattering of Americans on the cast, playing the role of Harold Levinson, the “maverick playboy” brother of Cora (Elizabeth McGivern) and the son of Martha (Shirley MacLaine).
