The CW is developing the novel The Beautiful Bureaucrat for the small screen, a story about when a young woman gets a data entry job at a mysterious corporation, she discovers that the information she is logging is building a database that has the power to affect fate – including her own.

FOX is developing Haunted a chilling horror that is loosely based on the Bob Cranmer book The Demon of Brownsville Road. The season long story about one of America’s most famous haunted houses is about a military agent who is partnered with her ex-boyfriend, now a rogue demonologist, to help a family overcome a deadly demonic infestation of their home.

The Soup is coming to an end after 22 years!

ABC has ordered more of The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, Black-ish and Fresh off the Boat.

The creators of How I Met Your Mother have a new show in the works. New York Mythological is about a Midwestern girl who moves to Manhattan and experiences firsthand the magic of New York.

ABC Family are venturing into the horror genre with Dead of Summer, a show that is described as part coming-of-age story, part supernatural horror story. It is set in the late 1980s when school is out for the summer, and a sun-drenched season of firsts beckons the counselors at Camp Clearwater, a seemingly idyllic Midwestern summer camp, including first loves, first kisses – and first kills. Clearwater’s dark, ancient mythology awakens, and what was supposed to be a summer of fun soon turns into one of unforgettable scares and evil at every turn.

TruTV have picked up to series Almost Genius, a show that celebrates the people, places and things that are almost successful but can’t quite cut it in the end; 10 Things, hosted by Girl Code’s Jamie Lee, a list-based collection of unusual topics; and truOriginals: Inside Iconic Comedy, a docuseries that goes behind the scenes of comedy films. The network has also ordered another 13 episodes of The Carbonaro Effect. Two new series are also in the works, including the pilot Jon Glaser Loves Gear, a hybrid show in which Glaser (Girls) delves into his love of gear and Inside Caucasia.
