Satisfaction’s Luke Macfarlane is hoping to follow in the footsteps of Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling by making the transition from TV to stage to film.
The London, Ont., native has returned to Canada after a five year stint on American series Brothers & Sisters to take up the role of Jason alongside Leah Renee (The Playboy Club) and Ryan Belleville (Almost Heroes).
The 33-year-old hopes to follow a similar career path to that of Bradley Cooper and Ryan Gosling, as he feels they are “guys who were able to straddle everything.”
He points out that Cooper went from TV drama (Jack & Bobby) to action shows (Alias) to Broadway before appearing in big budget films such as The Hangover and Silver Linings Playbook.
Satisfaction will be Macfarlane’s first job in Canada since he graduated high school.
