Homeland actor Diego Klattenhoff confirms he will be back

homeland-DiegoCanadian actor Diego Klattenhoff has confirmed he will be gracing the screen on the third season of Homeland.

Klattenhoff, who plays Mike Faber, confirmed to TV Guide Canada that his character will indeed be back despite rumours he would not be seen again.

He says he has no idea what will be in store for him, Jess (Morena Baccarin) or Brody (Damian Lewis).

“They kind of keep everyone in the dark,” he says. “I know they have some stuff for me when we work it out. I’d love to go back and do whatever I can for them. It’s a fantastic place to be in, to be a part of two really compelling shows.”

Klattenhoff was in Toronto last week for the Shaw upfront presentation as part of his new NBC drama The Blacklist.

“There are tiny elements of Silence of the Lambs, but there is so much more to the show than Hannibal Lector and Clarice in this relationship,” he said regarding The Blacklist. “I don’t think it’s as deep and dark and twisted or anything. I don’t want to say that it’s more complex, but we have something that’s unique and not just a rip-off. Our show stands alone in what it is.”

The Blacklist hits Global this fall on Mondays at 10pm Et while Homeland will be back on September 29 on Super Channel.
