Corus Entertainment's Nelvana Studio celebrating Daytime Emmy win

Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Studio is celebrating a Daytime Emmy win.

The studio picked up the award for Outstanding Preschool Animated Program for the second season of Bubble Guppies at this week’s 40th Annual Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

“Corus is proud of its role as the production team behind Bubble Guppies,” said Colin Bohm, Managing Director, Nelvana. “Nelvana has provided excellent quality animation for Bubble Guppies, combining multiple mediums that blur the lines with CGI, Maya and 2D Toon Boom applications.”

Bubble Guppies, now in its third season, is a Nickelodeon series, which also airs on Canada’s #1 preschool network Treehouse. The CG-animated preschool series, created by Jonny Belt and Robert Scull, follows a group of diverse preschoolers with colorful fish tails who go on adventures discovering their world.
