Brian Austin GreenBrian Austin Green has signed on as a series regular on Anger Management.

The actor – who guest-starred on the comedy as Sean, the boyfriend of Sheen’s ex-wife Jen (Shawnee Smith) – will reprise his role on a regular basis.

Green’s acquisition is one of two major signings for the comedy in the wake of Selma Blair’s exit, with a female series regular also to be cast.

Green was last seen in the short-lived the Wedding Band.

Summer Camp sees 16 contenders head back to camp to compete in a battle of the sexes with one side emerging as winners of the $250,000 to be split between the team.

While bunking at a beautiful lakeside retreat in California, the girls’ camp and the guys’ camp will compete in contests inspired by classic camp games. Each week the losing team will have to banish two of their teammates to the opposing camp, while the winning team will decide which of the two banished campers will have to leave summer camp for good. JodyCoryDouble amputee Jody Mitic says competing in The Amazing Race Canada was his “biggest challenge” yet.

The 36-year-old former Canadian Forces sniper lost both his legs when he stepped on a landmine in Afghanistan but continues to challenge himself as much as possible, including competing in the gruelling new CTV series with his younger brother.

“We decided to just go for it,” says Mitic. “I approach most things like, ‘I’ll worry about it when it happens.’

“I surprised myself. There’s nobody more surprised by some of the things I pulled off than me,” said Mitic. “Some of what I thought were my limits, I can actually go a lot further.” Continue reading »

Downton-Abbey-2012An American-based drink company is producing a range of wines based on Downton Abbey.

Wines That Rock will produce the range “inspired” by the ITV series, attempting to recreate the kind of fine wines that the likes of Lord Grantham would serve in his dining room.

Co-owner of Wines That Rock Bill Zysblat said: “The Dulong Grands Vins De Bordeaux vineyards… have over 130 years of experience in creating the world’s best wines so these are wines the Crawley family would have been proud to serve at Downton.”

The wines will only be available for purchase in America and Canada.

The second season premiere drew an impressive 1.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched program of Tuesday night in the younger (A18-34) and female (F18-34) demos.
