RookieBlue44Rookie Blue’s Missy Peregrym has dropped a huge hint that something big will go down at the end of the upcoming season.

The actress is due to return to our screens as Andy again for the fourth season of the Global drama and she has predicted a season of change for her character that will culminate in something big.

When asked by TVFanatic about the hardest scene she has shot for the series, she said: “I can’t really talk about it because it’s at the end of the season”.

When pressed, she added: “It’s literally the finale. It’s (episode #) 13. There’s a scene there that I found extremely difficult to film and I can’t say anything because it just links to so many other things throughout the season but we can talk about that later after it airs.” Continue reading »

Reporter Tim Goodman has stated in his Power Rankings piece today that he believes Canadian actress Tatiana Maslany is worthy of an Emmy nomination for her multiple roles in the series.

“Instead of just going on about how surprisingly good this series is and what a sad thing that so many of you are missing it, maybe I should let the Hype Train just keep rolling with its own momentum and get to something more important,” he writes.

“If Tatiana Maslany isn’t nominated for an Emmy for her multiple performances here, then you’ve got your biggest and most justified Emmy outrage of 2013.” Continue reading »

MontrealConnectedCity Montreal is gearing up for the launch of its new 30-minute weekly sports magazine show Montreal Connected.

The series – which will be hosted by Sportsnet reporter Alyson Lozoff and TV personality Wilder Weir – is due to hit screens on Thursday, May 30 at 7pm ET.

The Gossip Girl and Parenthood actor will appear in the last two episodes of the upcoming season playing William “Wild Bill” Eustace, a “tough and charming Tammany Hall fixer with a genius for political machination”.

Motive2British audiences will soon get to enjoy Canadian series Motive with news today that the series has been given its UK premiere date.

The Vancouver-shot series will begin airing on Thursday, June 13 on the Universal Channel.

The series began airing this week in the US on ABC, drawing 6.8 million total viewers.

HaloSteven Spielberg has attached himself to a new Halo TV project.

The legendary director will executive produce the project, which will be overseen by Halo 4 developer 343 Industries.

“The Halo universe is an amazing opportunity to be at that intersection where technology and myth-making meet to produce something truly groundbreaking,” Spielberg said during the Xbox One reveal event.

Little else is known about the project, despite the fact it will air on Xbox One. So far there is no word on which characters will take part and where in the Halo universe the series will be focussed.
