AmericasNextTopModelAmerica’s Next Top Model will be changing things up next season to include male models

The long-running series will feature eight men and eight women in its 20th cycle later this year.

The cycle will be entitled America’s Next Top Model: Guys & Girls and the prize will be a $100,000 advertising campaign with Guess.


An upcoming storyline on Law & Order: SVU bears a striking resemblance to the real-life events that surrounded Rihanna and Chris Brown’s relationship.

“A promising singer is brutally attacked by her boyfriend, a popular hip hop star,” reads the episode description.

“ADA Barba (guest star Raul Esparza) works to build a case, but the victim refuses to aid the prosecution and, despite Detective Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) best efforts, continues to put herself in danger.” Continue reading »

A recent study has found that 40% of young Canadians now mainly watch TV online.

“Television viewership is not yet dying in Canada. What is changing is how people use their TVs, with PVR usage continuing to grow and a strong move towards online TV,” says Joe Thacker, Chief Strategist of Toronto-based Fusion Retail Analytics, who conducted the study.

“Both of these trends come up frequently in conversations with our clients. The key is to keep monitoring media usage trends, understand the exact role and ROI of each media, and adjust your media mix each year accordingly. A commercial featuring Veep actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus has been pulled from Israeli TV after offending overweight viewers.

The commercial showed the actress rubbing the stomach of an un-pregnant co-worker and congratulating her on the baby.

The spot, for local satellite TV provider Yes (which carries Veep), was referred to as an “evident and unjustified insult to a substantial majority of the people.” Continue reading »
