Nadir Mohamed announces departure as CEO from Rogers

rogerslogo1Rogers Communications president and CEO Nadir Mohamed has announced he will be stepping down next year.

The news comes as Rogers announced a net income for the fourth quarter of 2012 up 62 per cent to $529 million.

“The company’s in great shape and it’s time to start the transition to the next generation of leadership,” Mohamed said in a statement.

He has been with the Canadian company since 2000 when he joined as head of its wireless phone division.

His departure will take place in January 2014.
