Prosecuting Casey Anthony among Lifetime's winter line-up

It’s a winter of troubled teens, feisty divas and gripping original movies on Lifetime. From blood boiling stories to highly entertaining series, Lifetime’s array of compelling content will keep you warm this season as the network gets set to debut two new unscripted reality series, a selection of exclusive movies and new seasons of fan favourites throughout the month of January.

Joining the existing roster of hit series are Teen Trouble, which follows teen expert Josh Shipp as he helps families deal with their out-of-control teenagers and Double Divas, featuring Molly and Cynthia, LiviRae Lingerie shop owners, on a mission to help women with any and all intimate apparel needs.

For lovers of mystery and intrigue, Lifetime adds a trio of new and exclusive original movies to the January schedule including Prosecuting Casey Anthony (starring Emmy and Golden Globe® Nominee Rob Lowe), which chronicles the investigation of Caylee Anthony’s murder. An Amish Murder (starring Canadian actress Neve Campbell) and Stalked at 17 (starring Melissa & Joey’s Taylor Spreitler) also join the slate.

Making their return to the network this month are new seasons of Dance Moms, Project Runway All Stars and America’s Supernanny: Family Lockdown.

Prosecuting Casey Anthony (Canadian Premiere)
Saturday, January 19 at 8pm ET/5pm PT
Prosecuting Casey Anthony is the definitive inside story of the Caylee Anthony murder case that captivated – and then shocked – the nation when Caylee’s mother, Casey, was acquitted of the crime despite what seemed to be overwhelming evidence of her guilt. Starring Emmy and Golden Globe® Nominee Rob Lowe (The West Wing) as prosecutor Jeff Ashton, this crime drama takes us behind the scenes of both the investigation into the murder and the ensuing trial, and sheds new light on the questions of what happened to Caylee, how the prosecutors built their case, why a woman so shrouded in suspicion was proclaimed innocent, and how the justice system failed little Caylee. Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost), Oscar Nunez (The Office), Marisa Ramirez (General Hospital), Kevin Dunn (Samantha Who?) and Virginia Welch also star.
