Parents already attacking Kate Upton's Super Bowl ad

It hasn’t even aired yet but Kate Upton’s Super Bowl ad for Mercedes is already being attacked by parenting groups.

The 90-second ad features mode Upton watching a group of young male football players wash a new Mercedes car.

It was posted on Mercedes’ YouTube channel this week and will air on TV for the first time during February’s Super Bowl.

The Parents Television Council has criticised the ad saying it objectifies women and is teaching bad lessons to young girls.

A representative for the council told the Daily Mail: “This ad reinforces for millions of wives, daughters and sisters across the country that you use your sex appeal to get what you want. If anything, this ad proves that we’ve regressed rather than progressed over the last several years.”
