Richard (James Pickens, Jr.) avoids Catherine’s (Debbie Allen) romantic advances and Jackson (Jesse Williams) takes on one of Mark Sloane’s (Eric Dane) old patients. Meanwhile, Derek begins recovery on his hand.

Voice2013As if the Manti Te’o hoax couldn’t get any more bizarre, it’s being reported that the prankster behind the now infamous hoax tried out for The Voice.

Ronaiah Tuiasosopo allegedly concocted a story when auditioning for the show, saying that he and his cousins started a Christian band together and were on their way to perform when they were involved in a car accident.

Us Weekly claims that Tuiasosopo got the chance to audition in front of the judges, Shakira, Usher, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, but none turned around for him.


It’s Gossip Girl… Mexican style.

While the original Gossip Girl wrapped late last year, fans of the series can still get their fix thanks to Gossip Girl: Acapulco.

The Mexican series is one of a number of international spin-offs, with China and Turkey also releasing their own versions of the New York-set series.

However, this version looks to be the only one where they have tried to produce a product as close to the original as possible. The characters will have different names though. Continue reading »

heather-locklearFranklin & Bash has acquired the services of Heather Locklear for its third season.

The actress will join the cast as a series regular following the departure of Garcelle Beauvais at the end of season two.

The former Melrose Place actress will play a character called Rachel King, a “stunning trial lawyer, with stiletto heels and clothes tailored within an inch of their life.”

It will mark the first regular TV role for Locklear since LAX in 2004. She appeared in several episodes of Hot in Cleveland recently also. Continue reading »

HockeyNightCanada2013-2When Hockey Night in Canada (finally) returns this weekend, fans will note a few changes have been made.

CBC has said that there will be some “familiar faces in new places” throughout the broadcast.

“To coincide with the start of our 60th season, a milestone year for CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada, we’ve made exciting changes to our all-star cast of personalities who bring distinct points of view to the broadcast” said Julie Bristow, Executive Director, Studio and Unscripted Programming, CBC.

“In addition to the broadcast team, we are launching: Hockey Night in Canada: 2nd Screen which creates the opportunity for viewers to interact with the game, our show and fans across the country.” Continue reading »
