Golden Globes broadcast sets new record in Canada

This week’s Golden Globe Awards were the most-watched on record in Canada.

3.4 million Canadians tuned into the CTV broadcast of the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler-hosted ceremony on Sunday night, a figure that is up 5 per cent on last year.

The three-hour broadcast peaked at 10.04pm with 4.3 million watching Jodie Foster’s speech after receiving the Cecil B. De Mile Awards.
