Canadian sitcom veteran cast as lead in new CTV series Spun Out

Dave Foley has been cast in the lead role of the new CTV pilot Spun Out.

The sitcom veteran will take on the role of a fledgling PR firm boss, staffed with people who can spin everyone else’s problems but their own.

The multi-camera sitcom pilot also features Paul Campbell (Battlestar Galactica, Almost Heroes) as a disgraced writer who ends up working at the firm alongside Holly Deveaux (Less Than Kind), Al Mukadam (Radio Free Roscoe), Rebecca Dalton (The L.A. Complex) and J.P. Manoux (Community).

“I am delighted to be returning to the multi-cam, live audience, sitcom world and to my hometown,” said Dave Foley.

“We are thrilled to have Dave anchoring an amazing cast of established sitcom actors and emerging stars,” said Andrew Barnsley, Executive Producer. “Newsradio was one of our touchstones when developing the show, so having its star on board is truly an honour.”
