The Claire Danes “cry face” meme did the rounds last year and it appears we’re not done with it just yet.

American website CollegeHumor has released a new “Homeland RPG” video that parodies the show and its characters, especially Danes and her “cry face”.

Breaking Bad (Season 4)Anna Gunn has teased the final eight episodes of Breaking Bad, saying it’s “mind-blowingly brilliant”.

“What Walt’s actions have wrought, everything starts to explode and implode,” Gunn, who plays Skylar, told E! Online.

“Every single person around him is being affected by it in a very, very dark away. It’s kind of like watching the walls of this world crumble down. And I find myself having to lock myself away in a quiet room to read the scripts. Canadians living close to the border are reportedly getting their hands on rabbit ears and over-the-air TV antennas in order to see the ads that will air in American but not Canada.

Most of the ads will never air north of the border given the issues of rights, talent fees and product differences that exist between the two nations.

Motive640The ABC network has picked up the Canadian original series Motive.

The CTV crime drama will air in the US this year, confirms CTV president of programming and sports Phil King form NATPE.

“We are very happy to have ABC on board and thrilled that this fantastic new Canadian drama will have a North American audience,” said King. “CTV is very proud of our track record in developing and co-producing original Canadian content that continues to be seen around the world. Today’s announcement is a testament to the talent of Canada’s independent production community, Vancouver’s film and television community, and of, course Bell Media’s Independent Production team.”

The 13-episode series was shot in Vancouver and will premiere in Canada on Sunday, February 3.


This surprisingly tame ad for an adult site will not be seen during the Super Bowl after CBS gave it the thumbs down.

After months of speculation How I Met Your Mother has officially been renewed for a ninth and final season.

While several cast members have said in the past that the show was definitely returning, the CBS network had yet to make the official announcement until now.

CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler said in a statement: “Through eight years, How I Met Your Mother has mastered the art of leading-edge comedy, emotional water-cooler moments and pop culture catch-phrases.
