Undercover Boss Canada returning January 17

Undercover Boss Canada, W Network’s top-rated series, returns with 10 new venturesome CEOs who go undercover among their own workforce.

After two successful blocks, the third installment features bigger personalities and more explosive confrontations with staff as the CEOs strive to keep the customer happy.

Their undercover mission leads to surprising and heartwarming discoveries. In the new episodes, viewers will see executives from prevalent Canadian brands such as Wild Wing, Orkin Canada, Clark Builders, Beck Taxi and Bellstar Hotels & Resorts.

From Alliance Films, produced in association with W Network, new episodes of Undercover Boss Canada premiere on Thursday, January 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, featuring Canadian founder and CEO of Wild Wing, Rick Smiciklas.

In the series, Canadian CEOs disguise themselves and infiltrate their own unsuspecting workforce. Each episode sees a prominent executive go on an emotional and eye-opening journey from the top office to the ground level, for the betterment of the company, their employees, and themselves.

The first set of companies and executives participating in this block of episodes include:

· Wild Wing, one of the fastest expanding family restaurant franchises in Ontario, takes Founder and CEO, Rick Smiciklas and puts him to work on the frontlines of his own restaurants and what he learns from staff leads to finger pointing and an explosive confrontation on Thursday, January 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

· Orkin Canada, the standard in Canadian pest management and prevention for over half-century swaps President Gary Muldoon from his usual HQ tasks for a snare pole and joins workers on the frontline to see how the company can play to its strengths on Thursday, January 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

· Clark Builders, which started out in 1974 with just a dozen employees and have grown to nearly thousand-strong workforce follows Andy Clark, executive chairman and company founder, as he puts on a tool belt for the first time in 30 years to work undercover and ends up making a surprising difference in the lives of his builders on Thursday, January 31 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

· Beck Taxi Limited, the largest fleet of taxis in Toronto with its distinctive orange and green features general manager Gail Souter and operations manager Kristine Hubbard, a mother-daughter team, both transforming their appearance to work undercover on Thursday, February 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, but it’s not long before the realities of life on the road hits them hard.

· Bellstar Hotels & Resorts, a leading developer and operator of resort properties in Western Canada puts CEO Ed Romanowski through his paces when he joins housekeeping to work in disguise and discover the truth about his company on Thursday, February 14 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
