Bell Media has decided that a third season of The L.A. Complex will not be getting the go-ahead.

This may well signal the end for the Canadian drama, which has always struggled to pull viewers on both Much and The CW in the US.

The CW is yet to decide whether or not to do away with the series and will hold talks with Canadian producer Epitome Pictures.

Executive producer of Epitome Pictures Stephen Sohn confirmed that they are “still exploring its options for the series,” which means the show could possibly turn up on another network. Continue reading »

Howard Stern has been confirmed to return to America’s Got Talent as a judge next season.

He will join host Nick Cannon is returning, with Howie Mandel also expected to continue next season.

HBO has released a new Game of Thrones featurette that takes a look behind the scenes at the production of the upcoming third season.

In the two-minute clip, cast and crew briefly discuss the characters, locations and costumes that will be seen in the third run next year.

CTV has confirmed they will be producing a Canadian version of The Amazing Race.

In a special on-air message from Amazing Race host Phil Keoghan, it was confirmed that a local version of the show will anchor the summer 2013 schedule on CTV.

CTV has licensed the Canadian rights from Disney-ABC Television and have enlisted the help of Insight Productions to produce the series with support from Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri’s Profiles Television.

“The Amazing Race Canada is a big show for a big network,” said Phil King, President, CTV Programming and Sports. “Canadians deserve their own summer version, distinct from what is seen in fall and winter. With the incredible diversity, scope, beauty, and sheer land mass that Canada has to offer, The Amazing Race Canada will explore the world within Canada.
