Gator Boys premieres September 22 on Animal Planet

Meet Animal Planet’s Gator Boys – Paul Bedard and Jimmy Riffle – two men who defy death capturing alligators with their bare hands.

Premiering Saturday, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT, this all-new, six-part series follows every crazy adventure and sticky situation the duo encounter.

The Gator Boys keep people safe as they simultaneously defend blameless gators and other wildlife displaced by South Florida’s urban sprawl, moving them to safety before trappers – who kill and sell the animals for their skin and meat – get to them.

With his commanding personality and unmatched expertise, Bedard can capture any-sized gator underwater with his bare hands. For his part, Riffle has been gator wrestling since he was 11-years-old, giving him the unmatched ability to handle nearly any dangerous reptile with ease.

With 30 years of wild-animal experience between them, the guys run an animal facility in the Everglades, where they educate and entertain the public using a menagerie of ferocious creatures they’ve captured in populated areas. The funds generated by the facility go towards rescuing troublesome wildlife, with the goal of returning every animal to its natural habitat unscathed.
