Food Network Canada announces fall schedule

Thrilling entertainment and adventure, action-packed drama and mouthwatering meals are filling Food Network Canada’s fall schedule with 25 new series and seasons beginning August 27th.

Food Network is bringing viewers three brand-new, behind-the-scenes series sure to entertain. In Food Factory, discover the ingredients, techniques and manufacturing processes that go into some of our favourite treats.

Meat Men takes viewers into the chaotic world of a family-run butchering business and SugarStars follows the zany antics of four friends-turned-business partners of Toronto’s Petite & Sweet event and lifestyle boutique.
The stakes are high in four new series coming to the schedule this fall. Cupcake Champions pits 16 of Cupcake Wars’ winners against each other in a tournament to name the Ultimate Cupcake Champ who wins $50,000.

In a fresh take on Food Network’s popular Restaurant Makeover series, Restaurant Takeover challenges restaurant industry top guns to go undercover and help rescue failing restaurants by revamping their menus and decor.

Bobby Flay is back with a brand new series, 3 Days to Open with Bobby Flay, in which he tries to save new food businesses that risk losing it all before their doors even open. In Chef Wanted with Anne Burrell, experienced chefs are put through the toughest job interview of their lives.

Three of Canada’s favourite Food Network personalities are back this fall with Chuck Hughes heading to Mexico in Chuck’s Week Off, Chef Michael Smith putting unique twists on classic dishes in Chef Michael’s Kitchen, and David Rocco taking viewers to the beautiful Amalfi coast to showcase simple, rustic Italian cuisine in David Rocco’s Amalfi Getaway.

Twelve of Food Network’s favourites are returning for new seasons including smash hits: Top Chef Masters; Chopped; The Great Food Truck Race; Restaurant Stakeout; Restaurant: Impossible; Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives; Cupcake Wars; Recipe to Riches; and The Next Iron Chef: Redemption.
