TV chef Anthony Sedlak found dead in Vancouver

Superstar Chef Challenge winner Anthony Sedlak has been found dead in his Vancouver apartment.

The 29-year-old, who was also the host of Food Network Canada’s The Main, was found deceased on Friday evening.

“His unexpected and sudden death has devastated his family, friends and the culinary community,” an official press release said.

“The Sedlak family thanks Anthony’s fans and associates for all their love, devotion and condolences.”

When he was 23, Sedlak won silver at the World Junior Chef Challenge in New Zealand and went on to win Superstar Chef Chlallenge later that year.

He was working on the Toronto Don Valley Hotel Suites’ restaurants and rooms ervice menus at the time of his death.
