Space amps up for Doctor Who return with four specials

In anticipation of another season of intergalactic time-travel, Space cures Time Lord-starved viewers with the ultimate crash course in all things Who.

This August, four consecutive hour-long Doctor Who specials scratch the sci-fi itch, helping viewers prepare for the return of the record-breaking series, starring the Doctor, Matt Smith.

Space prescribes tuning in Saturday’s beginning Aug. 4 at 9 p.m. ET with The Science of Doctor Who, featuring the real-life science behind the biggest concepts and most iconic ideas of the series.
Behind every great Time Lord there’s a great companion. Whether they’re grappling with Daleks or the Doctor’s ego, the women of Doctor Who prove that you don’t need a medical degree to save the universe. The Women of Doctor Who special premieres Saturday, Aug. 11 at 9 p.m. ET.

Space knows that Doctor’s are never on time, but when the Time Lord’s around, tomorrow is yesterday and yesterday is tomorrow. Confused yet? It all becomes clear when The Timey-Wimey of Doctor Who premieres on Saturday, Aug. 18 at 9 p.m. ET.

Before the new season takes off this fall, viewers can journey to the end of the Earth to destinations not featured in any ordinary guidebook during The Destinations of Doctor Who, premiering Saturday, Aug. 25 at 9 p.m. ET.

Viewers can also get a healthy dose of David Tennant as the tenth Doctor followed by Matt Smith as the eleventh doctor during the DOCTOR WHO CATCH UP MARATHONS. Season 4 blasts off Sunday, July 29 beginning at 6 a.m. ET, Season 5 airs all day on Sunday, Aug. 6 beginning at 6 a.m. ET, and Season 6 crash lands Sunday, Aug. 12 beginning at 6 a.m. ET.
