We may have to wait for it here in Canada but the Americans are already lapping up Charlie Sheen’s new comedy series Anger Management following its debut last week.

The former Two and a Half Men actor returned with his all-new series Anger Management last week on FX in the States and it became the most-watched scripted comedy broadcast in cable history, excluding children’s programming.

An average of 5.47m tuned in for the first episode while a further 5.74m caught the second later on.

If the show continues to rate well and meet undisclosed ratings goals, then a 90-episode order will be placed.

Anger Management will screen here on CTV in the fall.
