Salvage Hunters premieres June 22 on Discovery Channel

Meet modern-day treasure hunter Drew Pritchard. With demanding customers, high turnover, and one of the biggest decorative salvage yards in the U.K., Pritchard is on the road, crisscrossing the country in search of derelict gems and forgotten remnants.

Join the thrill of the hunt when Salvage Hunters premieres Friday, June 22 at 8 p.m. ET/10 p.m. PT on Discovery Channel.

An original Canada/U.K. co-production, this 10-part series follow Pritchard and his crack team of specialists on a fascinating journey through the entire picking process – from the initial expedition, to renewal, and finally to resale.

Showcasing his hard-earned knowledge and appreciation of salvage and restoration, each episode accompanies Pritchard on one big buying venture – such as setting off with an empty van and returning with a 20th century stained glass Gothic doorway from an Irish monastery – as well as the small, unpredictable twists along the way.

But simply discovering a treasure is only half the battle – Pritchard must artfully convince owners to sell, and at his price. After a successful purchase, the team brings the items back to Fabulously British Salvage – Pritchard’s 1,860 square-metre showroom located in North Wales – to restore them to their original brilliance, before reselling them for profit.

From a sprawling Scottish estate and a scrapyard in Coventry, to British kitsch in Blackpool and rare marine artifacts, SALVAGE HUNTERS reveals that any trip can feature the next great find or a bust that costs Pritchard and his team thousands. However, his keen eye and sharp negotiating skills are second to none – his passion and drive for success make him one of the best in the business.

SALVAGE HUNTERS was produced for Discovery Channel by Cineflix.
