Missing proving popular on CTV Tuesday nights

Canadians love the thrill of the chase! CTV’s MISSING continues its reign as the #1 new television program of the 2011/12 season with 1.8 million viewers on Tuesday, making it the most-watched program of the night with total viewers and the key adult demos.

Now with four episodes under its belt, including two stand-alone episodes on Tuesday nights, MISSING averages 2.07 million viewers as the break-out hit of the season. 

Last night’s action-packed episode was also up 26% compared to last week’s episode and saw double digit growth – up to 50% – among the key adult demos. MISSING also performed well in the metered markets as the #1 entertainment program in Toronto with total viewers and the western markets with total viewers, A25-54, and A18-49. 

Meanwhile at 9 p.m. on CTV, THE VOICE’s first live elimination show ranked as the #2 program of the night with A18-49 and A25-54, attracting 1.14 total million viewers last night. It improved the timeslot by 34% and 27% versus last week with A18-49 and A25-54 viewers respectively. 

Overall, CTV won every hour of core-prime last night with A18-49, and A25-54. 

In next week’s new episode of MISSING entitled “The Three Bears” (Tuesday, April 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CTV and CTV Mobile), Becca (Ashley Judd) takes matters into her own hands to uncover clues as to where Michael (Nick Eversman) is being kept.
