Canadian premiere of Captains of the Final Frontier on Bio

Some of them were lovers, several were geniuses of diplomacy, and others would stop at nothing to complete their mission.

They are the Star Fleet Captains – special men and one woman who took on the most powerful seat in any sci-fi voyage.

Premiering Sunday, April 8 at 12pm ET (9am PT) on The Biography Channel, Captains of the Final Frontier features interviews with Kate Mulgrew (Star Trek: Voyager), Tim Russ (Star Trek: Voyager), Denise Croby (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Dominic Keating (Star Trek: Enterprise), and Nana Visitor (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) as they share behind-the-scene stories from the most famous sci-fi series of all time.

In the 44 years since its inception, Star Trek has spanned six series and 11 movies, indisputably paving the way for every science fiction series that has followed.

At the centre of it all stands the fearless captain for each Star Trek generation – a class of iconic characters whose leadership and choices changed the course of their own universe forever.

From developing the character to casting the perfect actor, Mulgrew, Russ, Crosby, Keating and Visitor not only bring viewers a new perspective to the onscreen action and reveal some of the dramatic decisions made during the process of creating an iconic series in The Biography Channel’s Captains of the Final Frontier.

Captains of the Final Frontier was produced by Sharp Entertainment for Bio. The Biography Channel™. Matt Sharp (Man V. Food Nation) serves as the executive producer.
