“It’s an honour to be selected to play in this year’s game,” said Jonathan Scott. “I just hope Drew’s not too worried about breaking a sweat.”

Past Canadians who have participated in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game   include pop superstar and last year’s MVP Justin Bieber, and rapper Drake.

With the duos competitive nature on Property Brothers , coupled with their athletic backgrounds and their height, the brothers are sure to bring their best game forward. Drew played college basketball and had a 43-inch vertical jump. Both brothers coached basketball programs that helped underprivileged youth. The Scotts are both second degree black belts in Shotokan Karate and were National champions for more than five years.

In W Network’s Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan help couples find, buy and transform fixer-uppers into the ultimate dream home. Drew is the handsome real estate expert who tracks down hidden gems of houses that have untapped potential. His identical twin brother Jonathan is the handy contractor who overhauls their drab interiors with ambitious renovations. Each week, with the help of CGI technology, the brothers show buyers the underlying potential in two rundown properties. Once the clients choose the property they like best, Drew begins negotiating the purchase price while Jonathan starts planning the transformation. In Season 2, structural problems, last minute design changes and leaky pipes threaten budgets and timelines and it’s up to Drew and Jonathan to make sure deadlines are met. Property Brothers airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT and is produced by Cineflix (Property Brothers) Inc. in association with W Network.
