Hedley and Nickelback to perform on The 2012 Juno Awards, Sunday, April 1 on CTV

At a press conference today announcing the nominations for the 2012 JUNO Awards, CTV and The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) revealed that Hedley and Nickelback are the latest artists announced to perform on CTV’s broadcast of THE 2012 JUNO AWARDS on Sunday, April 1.

The two bands join previously announced performers Blue Rodeo, City and Colour, deadmau5 and Feist at this year’s broadcast from Scotiabank Place in Ottawa.

Hedley and Nickelback join City and Colour, Dan Mangan, Drake and Feist with four nominations apiece. Hedley is nominated for Single of the Year, Group of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, and the JUNO Fan Choice Award. Nickelback is nominated for Single of the Year, Album of the Year, Group of the Year, and the JUNO Fan Choice Award.

 

Today’s announcement brings the number of artists confirmed to perform on CTV’s broadcast to six:

The 2013 JUNO Awards are confirmed for Regina, SK.
