MuchMusic’s much-anticipated return of PRETTY LITTLE LIARS on Monday night took the #1 spot in its 8 p.m. ET timeslot amongst Teens 12-17 (89,000) across all specialty channels, making it one of the hottest shows this season among teens.
The mid-season premiere drew in a total of 241,000 viewers, an increase of 25% above the previous mid-season premiere, and up 7% among viewers 12-34 (120,000).
Versus the season-to-date average, Monday’s mid-season premiere scored 31% higher among teens, and 9% higher among total viewers. PRETTY LITTLE LIARS airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on MuchMusic, and is available on-demand at muchmusic.com/prettylittleliars.
The drama continues next week when PRETTY LITTLE LIARS returns with an all-new episode, “A Hot Piece of ‘A’” (Monday, Jan. 9 at 8 p.m. ET). After their recent encounter with “A,” Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer think they may be closer than ever to figuring out the identity of “A.”
When the girls decide to enlist Caleb’s hacking skills to help with their quest, Hanna no longer wants to be a part of the plan.
The last thing Hanna wants is to get Caleb involved in something else shady or open the door to questions that Hanna can’t answer.
Once the girls realize that “A” has a helper, Hanna has no other choice. Instead of focusing on figuring out who the “helper” is, Hanna decides to put all of her efforts into throwing a surprise party for Caleb. Meanwhile, Aria and Ezra must deal with the aftermath of coming clean.
