Breakfast Television hosts the 5th Annual BT/Home Depot Tree Sale, Dec 9

Breakfast Television Toronto is kicking off the holiday season with its fifth annual live broadcast of the BT/Home Depot Tree Sale, beginning at 5:30am ET on Friday, Dec. 9.

Live from the heart of Toronto at Yonge-Dundas Square, BT hosts Kevin Frankish, Dina Pugliese, Frank Ferragine and Jennifer Valentyne will be on-hand to interact with fans and help viewers pick their special trees. Plus – 680News entertainment reporter Rudy Blair pumps up the Christmas cheer broadcasting live from the square throughout the event. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Daily Bread Food Bank.

While in the Square, viewers can browse through hundreds of trees provided by The Home Depot, while treated to Tassimo hot cocoa and orange juice provided by Tropicana. Plus, tree sale shoppers will be eligible to win amazing prizes on site, including a chance to win a trip to Universal Orlando Resort. The sale continues beyond the broadcast until all the trees are purchased. Last year the BT Tree Sale raised more than $14,000 for The Daily Bread Food Bank, and this year Citytv is looking to top that.
