Space delivers The Doctor, The Widow and The Wardrobe this holiday season

‘Tis the season for THE 12 DAYS OF SPACE-MAS, when every day from Thursday, Dec. 22 until Monday, Jan. 2 is sure to feel like Christmas for genre fans!

This year, The Doctor is at the pinnacle of this magical holiday tradition with the premiere of the 2011 DOCTOR WHO Christmas special, THE DOCTOR, THE WIDOW AND THE WARDROBE (broadcast details to be announced).

And on Dec. 25, viewers can indulge in a full day of the best of the Time Lord with the Christmas With The Doctor Marathon, starting at 7:30 a.m. ET.

Prepare for some not-so-silent nights throughout THE 12 DAYS OF SPACE-MAS with perfectly packaged SPACE programming and killer movie marathons including two full days of gore with the Beast Feast Marathon, beginning Dec. 26.

The giving continues with the SANCTUARY Season 4 Marathon on Dec. 30 starting at 11 a.m. ET, with the premiere of the final three episodes of Season 4 beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET. Whether viewers have been naughty or nice this year, SPACE delivers the ultimate holiday experience with no limits!

 

SPACE HOLIDAY PROGRAMMING HIGHLIGHTS

 

EUREKA – “Do You See What I See” – *Special Premiere*

On Friday, Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. ET, EUREKA gets an animated makeover for a special holiday-themed episode. In this stand-alone episode that airs one week after the Season 4 finale, Sheriff Carter and Allison Blake try to plan the perfect holiday surprise for their kids. But a mysterious kaleidoscopic wave of colour crashes over Eureka, leaving the entire town and its inhabitants animated! Jim Parsons, Edward James Olmos, Chris Parnell and Matt Frewer lend their voices in this special.

Dino-Might Marathon

Move over Grinch, because dinosaurs steal Christmas on Friday, Dec. 23 starting at 11 a.m. ET with a full day of prehistoric flicks including the JURASSIC PARK trilogy.

 

Family Fantasy Marathon

Catch out-of-this-world fantasy blockbusters including BEETLEJUICE, E.T., STAR WARS: CLONE WARS and more with the Family Fantasy Marathon on Saturday, Dec. 24 starting at 8:45 a.m. ET.

 

Christmas With The Doctor Marathon

On the big day itself, someone special comes to town – but he arrives in a TARDIS instead of a sleigh! On Sunday, Dec. 25 starting at 7:30 a.m. ET, snuggle up to a full day of DOCTOR WHO specials and Season 6 episodes.
