CityNews Channel moves to new home on Rogers Digital Channel 15

In less than two months, CityNews Channel has quickly become Toronto’s go-to station for comprehensive coverage of the day’s events.

Now, the 24-hour all-news channel is moving to its permanent home on Rogers digital channel 15 in the Greater Toronto Area beginning Tuesday, Nov. 22 on Rogers Cable systems. Check local listings for channel placement outside of the GTA. 

Live from the heart of Toronto at Yonge-Dundas Square, CityNews Channel brings Rogers Media’s foremost news, entertainment, sports and current affairs brands together for multiplatform, integrated coverage. Since launching on October 3, CityNews Channel has catapulted into the digital network Top 5 in the key A18-49 and A25-54 demos,* proving it’s on the pulse of the city’s biggest news stories.

The winning 680News radio format comes to life on CityNews Channel with traffic and weather together on the :1s, sports at :15 and :45, and business at :26 and :56 past the hour. Following a simulcast of Canada’s #1 morning show, Breakfast Television, CityNews Channel continues with an exclusive extra half hour of BT from 9-9:30am. 

Also simulcast on CityNews Channel are the CityNews at Five, CityNews at Six, and CityNews Tonight broadcasts with another exclusive extra half hour of news coverage from 11:30pm-midnight. Plus, CityNews Channel is live overnight from 12am-5:30am with live audio news feeds from 680News.
