ET Canada to broadcast live from Vancouver

Global’sEntertainment Tonight Canada is taking the show on the road for ET Canada Live: Vancouver, a three-day live television event in British Columbia’s entertainment capital.

Starting next Monday, October 24th at 7:30pm ET/PT, ET Canada, the country’s favourite entertainment newsmagazine, will broadcast live from Vancouver for three days of star-studded shows and special performances. Kicking things off with a bang, Monday’s show will include an interview with JUNO award-winning rockersHedley, followed by a network television first – a performance of their new hit song “Invincible,” the premier single from their forthcoming release Storms, available November 8th. Monday’s ET Canada will also include one-on-one chats with actors Shawn Ashmore (X-Men) and Melody Thomas Scott (Young & the Restless). Tuesday and Wednesday’s line-up of special guests to be revealed at in the coming days.

“Going live like this is a first for ET Canada and we’ve chosen Vancouver to kickoff this special series not only for its natural beauty, but for our passionate B.C. fans,” said Tamara Simoneau, Sr. Executive Producer, ET Canada. “We can’t wait to spend time with our west coast viewers and host three days of amazing guests and performers in such a beautiful, vibrant city.”

Hosts Cheryl Hickey and Rick Campanelli will take over the waterfront at Jack Poole Plaza from October 24th – 26th. Local viewers are invited to come down, meet the cast and be part of the live audience for the three shows, which will be produced onsite everyday at 3:30pm PT.
