CTV Two proving popular since shift from /A\

With a new name, a new lineup, and for the first time in HD, CTV Two has exploded onto Canada’s television scene with primetime audiences increasing by double and triple digits, both nationally and in Canada’s largest television markets.

Recent final data from BBM Canada confirms that CTV Two now leads Citytv nationally and in Vancouver with total viewers, A18-49 and A25-54.*

Meanwhile, the newly minted network has seen primetime audiences explode by 122% in Toronto. CTV Two is the only Canadian conventional network to experience growth nationally and in all local markets with total viewers and all key adult demos.

With a solid lineup that heavily favours new and returning comedies, CTV Two has also seen three of its programs land in Canada’s Top 20 most-watched television programs for both A25-54, compared to four for Global and just one for Citytv and CBC, including TWO AND A HALF MEN (#6), CRIMINAL MINDS (#17), and MIKE & MOLLY (#18).

“In June, we outlined a branding and programming plan to build CTV Two into a destination network for both audiences and advertisers, and we think we’ve delivered on that plan,” said Phil King, President, Programming and Sports, Bell Media. “We couldn’t be happier with these early results.”
