Force Four Entertainment and DRG agree to first look distribution agreement

Force Four Entertainment of Vancouver, Canada and DRG of London, England today announced that they have entered into a First Look agreement for Force Four’s upcoming original factual slate. The companies have also committed to seek opportunities to develop factual and scripted programming together for the international marketplace.

Force Four Entertainment is one of Canada’s leading and most highly respected production companies, producing programming in the factual entertainment, scripted and documentary genres for a wide range of broadcasters.

In 2010, the company was named one of the top factual producers in the world, as part of the RealScreen 100.  Force Four’s reality series The Cupcake Girls, produced for Corus Entertainment, is distributed in more than 90 countries and won the 2010 Gemini award for Best Reality Series.  Its feature documentary 65_RedRoses for CBC News Network won the 2010 Banff Television Festival Award for Best Canadian Program in all genres.  In the scripted genre, the company has created numerous television movies and the Peabody award-winning mini-series Human Cargo.   www.forcefour.com

DRG will premiere at MIPCOM-11 the new Force Four series and format: Urban Suburban, currently airing on HGTV Canada.
