Mary helps a terminally ill man reconnect with his estranged children, while simultaneously facilitating the liver transplant that could save his life. And Mary still hasn’t come to grips with her pregnancy.

Gladiator actor Russell Crowe has confirmed he will be appearing on CBC comedy-drama Republic of Doyle.

Crowe signed on for a guest role in the series’ third season and shot some of his scenes last week in St John’s.

He tweeted: “…always find it hard to sleep before shooting…RoD, yes you heard it first,it’s your scoop.”

He later tweeted on Monday “Haven’t slept, at least I can see signal hill from the window today, yesterday was all fog. Seagulls are the soundtrack. Off to work.”

It is not known what character Crowe will be playing on the series.

This week, following an explosive elimination, the chefs are presented with their next challenge. Chef Ramsay introduces Chef Homaru Cantu and Chef Ben Roach, known for their unique ability to combine science and food. However, after an exciting demonstration with dry ice and liquid nitrogen, Chef Ramsay throws the teams for a loop – they will be doing just the opposite and going back to basics, using only heat and water to cook their dishes. Up for grabs this week is a relaxing day at the spa for the winning team. During dinner service, the Blue Team starts out strong on appetizers, while in the Red kitchen, Krupa’s repeated mistakes slow the team down. Each team manages to make it through dinner service without being shut down by Chef Ramsay but are told they each must nominate two members for elimination.

Entertainment Tonight walks the red carpet with Canadian Ryan Reynolds for the premiere of Change Up and The Voice Judge, Cee Lo Green stops by the ET studios for a quick chat about his latest project.

It’s the week before the Baby Phat fashion show – and there is a lot of work to do. This season Phat Farm clothes are supposed to be featured in the show – but they haven’t arrived. Kimora’s designer Jerome is struggling to put together runway looks for Kimora and her daughters and Baby Phat PR director BJ Coleman needs to put together a fabulous after party in just a week. Meanwhile, fashion icon J. Alexander is trying to cast models that will meet Kimora’s lofty expectations.

Kimora is taking on new responsibilities at Phat Fashions – she is now the creative director of Phat Farm, in addition to her responsibilities at Baby Phat. Kimora’s former assistant Sandra is now the brand manager at Phat Farm, but Kimora keeps pulling Sandra back into doing assistant work when Kimora gives Sandra the responsibility of planning her daughter Ming’s eighth birthday party.
