Fridays in July are packed with dance, rants and A.N.T.s on Family Channel

Family Channel will have viewers saying “TGIF!” with two nights of show specials and premieres on Friday, July 15 and Friday, July 22. Brand new episodes from popular series take over the network as part of the Night of Premieres lineup, including a Good Luck Charlie/Shake It Up crossover episode. All episodes from both of the Night of Premieres will be available on Family OnDemand.

In the Good Luck Charlie and Shake It Up crossover episode, premiering at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on July 15, the Duncan girls travel to Chicago to visit their Aunt Nell, but through a series of mix-ups they wind up on the set of “Shake It Up, Chicago.” Mistaken for a famous hip-hop act, Amy convinces Teddy this could be her only shot to get on television, so Rocky and CeCe help the mother-daughter duo come up with a winning dance number to perform on the show.

Leading up to the special episode is a nine-episode programming event, beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET/PT with What’s Up, Warthogs! Drama ensues both on and off the air when the West Hill High drama teacher is brought in to add some ‘panache’ to the announcements show and reveals his plans to recast Eric and Victoria.

At 5:00 p.m. ET/PT, Wizards of Waverly Place sees Alex head to the Beast Bowl with her brothers after Mason ignores Alex’s invitation. At the dance, Alex meets Chase Riprock, an undefeated beast tamer who has a crush on her.

Skateboarder extraordinaire Tony Hawk is also kick flipping his way into the lineup as he makes a guest appearance on So Random! at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT. In this new episode, viewers meet “Braggy Benson,” who is confident about all the wrong things and “Tantrum Girl” who hates seeing her food touch other food.

The Night of Premieres on July 15 also includes new episodes of Phineas and Ferb, Fish Hooks, Shake It Up and Pair of Kings.

On Friday, July 22, new episodes air from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. featuring premiere episodes of So Random! and Good Luck Charlie and kicking off with Really Me at 5:30 p.m. ET/PT. Maddy discovers that dating is hard enough when you live in a house of overprotective guys but being famous makes a possible relationship even more complicated.

In the Canadian hit DEBRA!, airing at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT, a normally distant Dancy swears off romance leading Debra to trick her into a new relationship by staging a horror movie in the school with Dancy as an unwitting co-star.

Ending off the night at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT is A.N.T. Farm. After Chyna is denied entry to the school dance, Olive suggests Chyna run for A.N.T. representative to change the rules.
