Early blow for Sheen in Two and a Half Men lawsuit

Charlie Sheen’s lawsuit against Warner Bros has been sent to arbitration by a Superior Court judge in Los Angeles.

The ruling is seen as a loss for Sheen, who is suing the studio and Two and a Half Men producer Chuck Lorre for more around US$100m in damages.

Sheen will no longer be able to present his case in open court.

However, Sheen’s attorney, Marty Singer, is still confident of a win for Sheen.

“We feel very confident our client will prevail in the case,” Singer said. “That’s what matters at the end of the day, it’s who wins and who loses, not who wins in the preliminary skirmishes.”
