eTalk Exclusive: Will the famous exes, Ken and Barbie, ever cross paths again?

ETALK has teamed up with Mattel to explore Barbie and Ken’s on-and-off-again relationship as only the most-watched Canadian entertainment news program can do.

Spotlighting one of Hollywood’s most talked about couples – popularly referred to as “Kenbie” – ETALK uncovers how the pair’s long-time romance fell apart nearly seven years ago.

Rolling out four exclusive features – chronicling everything from Ken’s bachelorhood, to his change of heart and trying to get Barbie back in his life – Mattel and ETALK partner to share the story of Ken’s emotional journey since his famous split with Barbie in 2004.

In a creative collaboration, CTV Brand Partnerships and Mattel bring viewers the latest gossip on the “star couple” by illustrating the stories through still photo animation and voice overs by ETALK host Ben Mulroney.

“It’s been a really fun journey for CTV Brand Partnerships and Mattel to participate in the story-telling of Barbie and Ken,” said Mary Kreuk, Vice-President, Marketing CTV Inc. “ETALK knows celebrity and what better place for Canadians to take a closer look at the ultimate celebrity “couple” (albeit plastic) of this generation.”

In a world exclusive interview airing Wednesday, January 26 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on CTV, follow the drama as Ken sits down with ETALK to set the record straight about his relationship with Barbie and plan to win her back (Ken was last captured by ETALK flying solo at Toronto’s Fashion Week in October, 2010. Check out the footage online here). Following the upcoming exclusive, ETALK looks into what’s next for the star couple and will continue to follow this story closely over the coming months.

Catch the breaking news and exclusive interview coming up January 26 on ETALK, the Most-Watched Canadian Entertainment News Program, weeknights at 7 p.m. ET on CTV (check local listings on www.ctv.ca).
