Hollywood Treasure premieres exclusively on Bravo!, Jan. 1

The hunt is on. In the search for Hollywood memorabilia, Joe Maddalena is king, and on January 1, Bravo! brings that kingdom to Canada with the premiere of HOLLYWOOD TREASURE.

In this adventurous new reality series viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at the intricate world of collecting showbiz and pop culture memorabilia.

The series makes its Canadian premiere on Bravo! with two back-to-back 30-minute episodes Saturday, January 1 at 8 p.m. ET/ 5 p.m. PT.

A piece of the yellow brick road and The Wicked Witch of the West’s hat from The Wizard of Oz, the original shark from Jaws, concept art from Edward Scissorhands, the original Rudolph and Santa Claus puppets from the classic Christmas special Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, a 1931 poster from Frankenstein (the most valuable movie poster there is) are all huge finds in the massive game of Hollywood history hide and seek.

These pieces are just part of an average day in the life of Joe Maddalena, owner of Profiles in History, the world’s largest auctioneer of original movie, television and pop culture relics. HOLLYWOOD TREASURE follows Joe and his team of experts as they navigate their way through the intricate world of collecting unforgettable props and costumes.

Over the course of each 30-minute episode, stories of Joe’s amazing discoveries unfold as he tracks leads that send him to a variety of unlikely places – from dusty basements and attics to encounters with world-renowned celebrities to peruse through their personal keepsakes. In this behind-the-scenes look at the path to the auction table, viewers travel the globe with Joe and his crew to witness the lengths one man will go to  get a piece of Hollywood history.
