Rumrunners and drug dealers, gorgeous girls with amnesia or stolen chip trucks, racehorses or fiancées – there’s always something intriguing going on in the Republic.

Private Eye Jake Doyle returns for a raucous second season of CBC’s REPUBLIC OF DOYLE, solving cases, dodging punches and chasing criminals through the hilly, colourful streets of seaside St. John’s.

Season One of REPUBLIC OF DOYLE saw Jake proving himself to be a top-notch, gut instinct, rogue kind of a P.I. Season Two continues to deliver and entertain with killer cases from uncommon clients -– complete with all the laughs, fistfights, car chases, lager and family skirmishes that viewers have come to expect from any episode of this one-of-a-kind series.

So what lies ahead for the Doyles as they all face Mal’s mortality? Will Christian return and better yet, what will happen if he does? Can Jake clear him? And are Jake and Leslie really over? Is “The One” for Jake gone for good?

REPUBLIC OF DOYLE stars Allan Hawco as the charming and irreverent detective who struggles daily to navigate the complications of running the family P.I. business while keeping his very tangly private life in check.

Also returning to the Republic are the people that Jake can’t live with — or without: colleague (and defacto stepmother) Rose Miller (Lynda Boyd); vandal turned P.I. apprentice Des Courtney (Mark O’Brien); and enterprising niece Tinny (Marthe Bernard).

But the return of one Doyle remains uncertain. After a couple of massive back-to-back heart attacks and emergency surgery, what has become of Malachy Doyle (Sean McGinley)…and how are the Doyles moving forward?

E! NEWS launches in Canada next Monday with a world exclusive: Diddy – Dirty Money, the hot new music group composed of multi-platinum-selling, Grammy-winning Sean “Diddy” Combs, Dawn Richard of Danity Kane, and singer/songwriter Kalenna Harper, will treat Canadian viewers to the highly-anticipated first look at their new music video, “Coming Home,” exclusively on E! NEWS, Monday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. ET (visit to confirm local listings).

The song, produced by Alex da Kid and Jay Z, is the latest single off of Diddy – Dirty Money’s upcoming album, Last Train to Paris, which will be released Tuesday, December 14, 2010.

Following the worldwide video premiere on Nov. 29, E! NEWS will air an exclusive interview with Diddy, Dawn and Kalenna. Diddy will then follow up with two appearances on the network during the week Last Train to Paris is released. The hip-hop impresario will guest co-host E! NEWS on Thursday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. ET and on the following night, Friday, December 17, he’ll appear on E!’s THE SOUP at 10 p.m. ET.

The “Coming Home” video will also make its online debut on immediately following E! NEWS’ east coast airing on Nov. 29.

For Diddy, Last Train to Paris follows his 2006 solo album, Press Play, which debuted #1 and went gold. His 1997 debut, No Way Out, was seven times platinum, followed by Forever (1999) and The Saga Continues (2001), which both went platinum.

Last Train to Paris is an electro hip-hop soul funk experience that blends elements of UK grime, Mediterranean techno and the 808s of American hip-hop, representing a sound Diddy calls “train music” – new dance music for the new decade. Other artists featured on the album include T.I., Lil Wayne, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Drake, Chris Brown, Grace Jones, Trey Songz and Bilal.

Diddy first teamed with Kalenna to write for Dawn’s group, Danity Kane, which he formed via his 2004-2005 MTV series, MAKING THE BAND 3. Danity Kane then became the first female ensemble in history to debut at #1 with their first two albums, and following their success, Diddy – Dirty Money was created in 2009.
