Martha Stewart filming polar bears in Manitoba

Martha Stewart has visited Manitoba’s north over the weekend, bringing a film crew along with her.

The domestic whizz stopped off for three days in Churchill, 1000km northeast of Winnipeg, where she tweeted pictures of herself outside a polar bear holding facility.

The purpose of Stewart’s visit is to capture footage of polar bears at the facility which holds the animals if they wander too close to town before releasing them back out into the wild.

Stewart has posted several pictures from her visit on social networking website Twitter.
