Gemini Awards conclude with star-studded broadcast gala hosted by Cory Monteith

The 25th Annual Gemini Awards concluded its silver anniversary celebration this evening with a black-tie Broadcast Gala at Toronto’s historic Winter Garden Theatre.

Hosted by Glee’s Cory Monteith, a total of 19 awards were presented, including those for Best Comedy Program or Series and Best Dramatic Series.

The awards gala, broadcast on Global and Showcase, featured a moving tribute to Degrassi, and an unforgettable performance by Elvis Costello with Feist, Ron Sexsmith, Kendel Carson, and Barry Bales.
