MTV has decided to give new comedy The Hard Times of RJ Berger a second season.

The brand new comedy series, which hits screens earlier this year, will return in 2011 for another run.

The series follows a seemingly ordinary high school teen whose social status suddenly rises after it is accidentally revealed to his peers that he is unusually well endowed.

The show received a boost after the series creator David Katzenberg posted out DVDs of the show to Canadian teen star Justin Bieber, who promptly tweeted his approval.

With the singer’s endorsement, the show has regained audiences in the target teen demographic.
