Recently axed series Ghost Whisperer may be salvaged from the scrap heap by another network looking to pick up the show.

Series regular Jamie Kennedy has confirmed that ABC are in talks about gaining the broadcasting rights to the show which was given its death nod by CBS earlier this month.

Kennedy, who features on the show as Eli James alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt, confirmed the speculation that ABC are interested.

“They are talking about it, so that’s cool,” he said. “We haven’t exactly gone into the light, we haven’t crossed over, but we’ve got some life.”

Tila Tequila is heading to Celebrity Rehab for the next season of the reality show.

The Shot at Love star has admitted an addiction to the prescription sleeping pill Ambien and will join other down-and-out celebrities on the show.

“She would base her entire day around it,” a source revealed.

“She would wake up, snort Ambien, Google herself, do more, Twitter all day and then sleep.”

Meanwhile the 28-year-old is positive she can use the experience to turn her life around on the show which has seen the likes of Gary Busey, Tom Sizemore and Dennis Rodman try to kick drug and alcohol problems.

“I know I am an extremely smart girl, and to run all these empires when I am not even 30 yet, is quite an accomplishment, however I finally admitted to myself that I cannot rely on taking prescription pills everyday for the rest of my life,” she wrote on her website.

“I must not be another ‘Lindsay Lohan’ where I just flush everything I worked so hard for down the toilet for nothing.”

With Simon Cowell leaving American Idol at the end of the current season, the producers are on the hunt for a mega international talent to replace him.

The latest star on the Idol with -list is the Queen of Pop herself, Madonna.

Idol creator Simon Fuller is desperate for Madonna to take the role of judge on the talent show, which wraps its ninth season this week.

A source said: “Simon is going to leave a gaping hole. Not only is he an expert, he’s also a big star in the States.

“Everyone agrees ‘Madge’ would be great and they want her as a full-time judge. But if that fails they’d at least like her as a mentor.”

The show is in need of a boost with ratings showing the long-running competition is fading in terms of popularity despite a shake-up this year which saw Ellen DeGeneres join the judging panel.
