Drama series FlashForward is close to being cancelled by its American network.
ABC has said the chances of the show, which follows the events before and after a global blackout, being renewed are “less than 50-50”.
While the show has enjoyed considerable success internationally, it has performed poorly of late stateside, which has led to the network seriously considering axing it.
Its saving grace may be the fact that is successful off-shore and holds relatively low production costs.
Fans of the show will have to wait until next week to learn of the show’s fate at the TV networks Upfronts.
